Do Santa's Elves sweat???

I just braved the attic for the first time in about a week to work on some projects - it was bearable with the fan, for a while, but once I did a bunch of ironing and getting up and down from the sewing table, I was pretty much fried.

I did finish 4 pillowcases -can't share pictures because they are all for gifts and I don't want to ruin any surprises.

One more reason Santa put his workshop at the North Pole!!!

I am not in the attic and I have ac............... the upstairs sewing room gets very warm with the iron and sewing machine, etc. Hang in there and pace yourself. Drink lots of H2O..............giggle!

I feel for you. My sewing room is great during the day but it gets the evening sun straight through the window. try wrapping a damp towel around the back of your neck. That keeps me cool

Oh, I like the damp towel idea! When my brother first got to Kuwait, my aunt in China said to drink hot drinks and it will cool you off, too. But since I don't drink coffee or tea, I can't verify if that works or not.

We are getting a cool spell here for the weekend. Hopefully, some cooler weather will head your way, too!!

I can't drink anything hot or wine when it is hot... Cold water is best, I think. (room temp is said to be the best for the body)
I rather work in the heat than sleep in it... no sleep for me when its hot.
