Today the Munchkin graduated to a "big boy bed" - which is really his crib with the sides off. He helped Daddy with the transformation, and then we let him decide where he wanted the bed to be - so his room got slightly rearranged - and cleaned thoroughly. After the bed was reassembled and the mattress back in place, he put all his buddies on the bed, climbed in, and then proceeded to tell us "I need a bigger bed"! Uh - I don't know if Mommy is quite ready for that yet...So where is the turtle in all this? Hidden behind the Munchkin is his Yertle the Turtle - you can just make out his blue shell to the right of the Munchkin.
(Left of Chicken) This is one of his new buddies. (Bonus - there are also turtles on the pillowcase of the small pillow).

Aw, he looks so cute there, and so triumphant! We skipped the toddler bed altogether and both of my girls went straight to twin beds. Talk about a tiny person on a big mattress...
That is great that you got his input on where to put the bed.
