Having a Ball with Baskets

I 'should' be working on two totes for two of my sisters. Instead, I am doing this...

I 'should' be working on straightening the house for tomorrow's influx of partiers (although I hope we will all be able to stay outside). Instead, I am doing this...

I got back into these little baskets when Sister Terri was here, and since they are quick and easy instant gratification. (...and all out of odds and ends of scraps, including recycling Hubby's old jeans!)

OK - maybe making NINE was a bit too much gratification??? (and I have a few more cut out and ready to go, as well as a handful that are partially assembled...)

And while I was at it I threw in a couple coasters for good measure...

(I also did laundry, pruned 2 shrubs, deadheaded a killer rosebush, scattered eggshells in my veggie garden, and built a train layout for the Munchkin - so it was all in all a VERY productive day!)

That's awesome! The only thing off of my list that I actually got done today was loading a quilt on the frame, but I did get bills paid, the kitchen cleaned up, and I'm working on 2 other things from my list simultaneously. Oh, and a nap and good news from my mother thrown in for good measure!!

Have a great time tomorrow!

Those are really cute little baskets. I think I saw the pattern somewhere but I just don't remember where. I'm all for quick projects.

...so that's why the Miranda tote isn't finished... ;-D
They are cute! Terri had mine in her 'stuff', so I haven't seen it yet...
Should-a, Could-a, Would-a... after a week of company, a simple, quickly gratifying project (among lots of other stuff you did outside) is just the prescription... I can wait on that tote (for a little while longer...)
Love you!

I wanna make some of those. I just can't find the time with everything else. It is on my list though. Great job.

I think it's official that I'm the only person left on the planet not to have made one of these. Which pattern are you using?
