Rochester Maker Faire


For anyone in the Rochester, NY area, PE.RA Designs will be vending/demoing at the Maker Faire Rochester on Saturday, November 15.  Our focus is Reuse / Recycle / Reimagine - we make jewelry and other accessories from repurposed wool, buttons, small everyday items, LEGO, and other sewing or craft notions.  We will also have Japanese sashiko kits and supplies and a demo on this Japanese art form.

The sashiko is something we have both been working with over the years, and just recently bought out the inventory of a former vendor.  Excuse our dust as we build our online "store" and share all the beautiful options sashiko can offer to quilters, embroiderers, clothing makers, and anyone who enjoys hand work.

The dark background is harder to read especially for those of us with “old eyes”. Just thought you’d like feedback. Good luck with your event this weekend. Wish I was close enough to come.
